An amazing place to relax and enjoy the view. Wish we would have stayed more than one night. Room was perfect, very quiet, very clean and had a comfortable bed. Breakfast was plentiful. Hot tub was wonderful (clean and had the correct temp for a hot tub). Loved the community area-plenty of places to relax. Just note: the Lobster room we stayed in was upstairs and the steps were a bit steep for us old people. Just hang on to the rail. Definitely would come back!

A truly magical place! Enjoy a panoramic view of the water and mountains from the rooftop deck. A delicious and well stocked breakfast every morning downstairs and plenty of areas to sit and relax around the property. Take the path down to the water and enjoy listening to the waves. Plenty of great establishments around to have drinks and great food. 👍

We stayed in the pine cabin. It had a beautiful view of sunsets and was clean, quiet and well maintained. Cabin is quite small with small shower. Hot inside in August but air conditioner kept it cool on high setting. Mini refrigerator and drip coffeemaker. The Bluff House Inn is walkable but we preferred to drive there. Continental breakfast included and there were beautiful sitting areas and view out back. It’s located about 45 min from Bar Harbor. Very close to Schoondic Peninsula mainland Acadia Natl Park which is beautiful.

The area is pretty remote, but the path to the little beach is very cute. The views and the lobby area are also great, the rooms are just old and small. The breakfast is very basic (Walmart bagels and a coffee machine) and the staff is not overly welcoming. Has great potential but felt very basic (some ideas: some lawn games or board games to make the shared space feel more inviting, fruit at breakfast, some bathroom items, etc).

A stay with an absolutely gorgeous view. Unfortunately there were some serious detractors. Fees upon fees upon fees. They make you choose between a non-refundable $35 damages fee at check in or you can have them put a $500 hold on your card. With a hold that high this is essentially just another $35 fee. Advertised free breakfast only to tell us they stopped serving it the day we got there. Lots of insects in the rooms as well. This place looks amazing and has great views, unfortunately the owners only care about how they can get as much of your money as possible while advertising a lower nightly cost.

The inn is so quiet and peaceful, and the guests are taken care of so well; it's been such a great experience. Awesome coffee in the morning, too! The location and view are amazing! I did not expect our room to be on the second floor of the main building, up 25 steps. This was difficult for my husband and made carrying luggage a challenge. It was odd to not have someone in the building as we were checking in, it seemed less than personal. The room, especially the bathroom was small. When we asked about housekeeping and clean towels, we were told we could request clean towels, but they were not a hotel, more of a bed and breakfast... except it was a limited grab and go breakfast. The stay was fine overall, but it did not meet my expectations. There was a window air conditioner, which we did not need, but it meant we could not open the window for fresh air.
