Good location, close to bridge and town center. Very friendly staff. Clean everywhere. But in the room, no WiFi and TV.

Nothing bad to mention , seriously . Everything is spotless to me , had a great stay . Staff are welcoming and friendly , great food at the restaurant , fantastic location with a short walk to the falls and bridge ( I spent usd5 for the taxi ride from the boarders which is maybe about 20mins walk but it’s recommended to take a taxi if u have big bags , you don’t wanna be dehydrated under the sun ) . The room is perfectly sized , just love everything about it ❤️.

Initially i was very apprehensive about booking these chalets as it was reasonably priced in a very expensive victoria falls area. I am so glad i wnet for it as not only it met my expectations it was unbelievably quaint. The chalets were very modern , extremely clean and the beds were amazing. The even had a turndown service in the evening and they covered our beds with a netting so that the bugs from the thatched ceiling will not bother us at night. The beds covered in netting felt a little "princess" like cos of the beautiful netting.The grounds were so well maintained. We woke up to an amazing sunrise between the thatched rooflines..We booked a walking tour and an helicopter tour and they picked us on time and everything went very smoothly. They gave us a 10% discount for all activities booked thru shearwater. This is truly a gem in VF area. For the price I paid a night , I must say this chalets were well worth it. The shower was strong. It even had a safe in the room. They allowed us to check out right after our helicopter tour... I had an wonderful time there ! I would highly recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat! The walking tour guide was very kind to drop us off to the nearest point to do the bridge tour on our own.He went out of the way to secure the bridge pass from the immigration so we did not have to wait in line! That kind gesture allowed us plenty of time to catch the sunset!.They allowed us to pay for activities upon check hence making it hasslefree.

I enjoyed my stay at the Shearwater Explorers Village. They offered a variety of lodging options from camping, staying in tents, and nice hotel units, all in a resort setting. The main building was a huge open air thatched structure. Shearwater is a large tourist company that offers all sorts of activities and can book others if they don't offer one. Service was excellent, the pool was welcome after a day out. I stayed in a tent, which was under cover and came with a comfortable bed, a table with a light and a fan. It is one of the closest hotels to Victoria Falls and close to the shops of Victoria Falls. Nearby Three Monkeys offered good food at tourist prices. A block or two up the road one could also find less expensive local options as well as groceries. The location was great and I recommend getting the pickup shuttle service, which is less than that of a taxi. The staff were very helpful and the grounds are secured.

The staff were so friendly and helpful! The overall atmosphere is very relaxing and I enjoyed being there. I would suggest getting a room away from the backup generator which is very noisy. The staff said I could switch rooms but I thought it would be ok and regretted not following their advice.

The bartender was slow and rude waiting for 20mins to get a drink. When we finally talk to someone they didn't seem to care about providing service to us. So we left without getting service.

Loved the bungalows and grounds. Lots of plantings and a lovely pool and deck area. Very relaxing. It was very nice to have access to so many great tours and the staff and guides were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. Great restaurant.

Amazing hotel, quiet, relaxing, very close to the falls, safe. Enjoyed my stay and looking forward to be back!
