This is a beautiful new property with all the latest. When we arrived in our room the bathroom was unkept, dirty soap dish, a hair in the shower and a dirty floor around the toilet. This did not give us comfort that this brand new HI property was being well cared for

The property is very new. The cleaning team is topnotch and the desk staff are super friendly and helpful. We had a few requests for glasses, water, etc. long after midnight and the staff were superbly responsive and accommodating. We, a couple, were very happy with our stay and if we're going to pick a hotel in the area again, HI Express & Suites Trois Rivieres Ouest will certainly be our pick.

Liked that is was a new construction with modern design. Rooms were comfortable with a convenient, well thought-out design. Breakfast buffet had a good selection. Disliked that the bathroom fan was not operational and there was a strong smell of chlorine bleach in the room. Also, the position of the air-conditioning unit was not ideal as it would end up blowing cold air directly on the second bed every time if would turn on.
