NO BREAKFAST/RESTAURANT/BAR READ FIRST
*NO BREAKFAST OR RESTAURANT/BAR* Beyond disappointed. Please look elsewhere unless desperate. BAD NEWS: Unacceptable bait and switch by this hotel. Visitors beware -- there is NO BREAKFAST available, and the RESTAURANT IS CLOSED. We stayed here for 8 days and were told every day that neither was available, even though the website did (and still does) promote these options. There isn't even water or coffee out. Normally, this may not be a big deal, but when you have small children and it's literally 5 degrees out it would be nice to have in-house options. Also, we had to switch rooms due to an intense sewer smell, that was still apparent in our second room oddly enough more so when you turn on the heat (no idea how they're related but very obvious). The hotel needs work. Tape all on the floor of the elevators, bathroom tiles cocked weird, bathtub motel-feeling. GOOD NEWS: For 1 or 2 nights, it's fine. The location is decent. 10-Minute walk to Myeondong Street and 15 to Lotte. Massive coffee options, including Starbucks nearby (many oddly weren't open by 9am, though) Staff was nice, if only because they were nonexistent. Housekeeping would clean when we left, no matter what time, and always leave water bottles. Really, just a terrible taste in your mouth when you plan a trip to a bucket list destination and when you get there you find out its nothing like what is promised.

This is truly a hidden gem. It was clean, sufficiently spacious, the gym was great too. Location was so so convenient - it is a 4-5min walk to Euljiro(3)ga Station Line 2 and 3, and a 10-15 min walk to Myeongdong. The food surrounding the vicinity is amazing - many diverse options, with really good quality food too. It is opposite the police station, so the area is really safe. There were some dramas being filmed at the police station during our stay too, so it was super cool. Staff are friendly, however there will be times when you have to take the initiative to go down to the front desk to collect things that you have requested for (e.g. bedroom slippers, etc.) because they are shorthanded. Nothing terrible anyway. The only thing I would nitpick on, is the lack of Public dustbins in the hotel and in the vicinity, so if you were to takeaway/takeout any of your food items and eat in the room, it will be slightly difficult to dispose of your waste immediately to prevent stinking up the room.

We had a fantastic stay here. The room was very comfortable and clean, and we felt it had everything we needed for our stay. The hotel is also well located in the heart of Myeongdong, an easy walk to the shopping street, as well as Chungmurro/Myeongdong station or Euljiro-3ga - both of which are on two lines that we used extensively during our trip (either to take us to our favourite places, or as a connection to another train line). Despite this, G2 is in a quieter part of the area, so it meant that even with the windows open, we weren't bombarded by lots of car sounds or people, and so felt it was a nice way to unwind after a busy day. The only downside is that the walls are fairly thin, so on our first night we could hear our neighbouring room and they were quite loud (luckily they checked out the next day!). There were a few instances again of this, but it didn't become a major issue, and we do feel we could have gone to the front desk to request assistance if needed.

24h reception, very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and cleaned regularly. Bed was very comfy. Location was an easy walk to myeongdong markets and other popular food/ attraction joints. Rooftop view was chill and peaceful. Laundry service also available which would come in handy. 10/10 would stay again

The hotel provides clean, modern accommodations however upon arrival we discovered the on-site restaurant is permanently closed. We were dissatisfied with some of the front counter staff who were unwilling or unable to help us, which was not the norm when compared to other hotels we stayed at in S. Korea.
