The room was a decent size and clean. But 36° and no ac or even a fan . Surely the cost of a fan for each room is not hugely expensive.

The ease of booking and check in was very good. Room was clean and comfortable. As I was travellng by train, it access was excellent - just accross the road. Breakfast was more good. All together a very pleasant and affordable stay. Would receommend highly for the cost concious traveller.

Parking there is hard to figure out, even with the instructions, it wasn't clearly identified where to find the parking lot. One gentleman, who I'm not entirely sure was actually staff, was kind to help us and let us through the gate. You have to circle the large block to get back around to the parking entrance. For those unfamiliar with the property, it's almost impossible to know where it is as it's definitely not obvious in relation to where you enter the hotel to check in. Staff were friendly enough, but there seemed to only be one dedicated staff member on duty and they were also the bartender at the hotel so we had to check in at the bar. Not a deal breaker, just out of the ordinary. Seemed to be a central spot for disorderly conduct. Cops with canine regularly patrolled the front walkway of the hotel where the bar is located to move the drunks along from loitering, loudly.

car park gate would not open. Drunk/ street Begger sitting next to it shouting at me on arrival. Had to get help . Bar closed. Reception is closed but operates from the closed bar! Staff not very approachable . Very noisy from people shouting outside the train station until very late. Will give it a miss next time. .

The room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was that the bathroom door is difficult to open once closed.

The room was small but had space for a small family to sleep. The toilet door was a concertina type but fell off immediately you touched it. Had 5 screws hanging from the top rail and a door in your hands. I spoke to the manager who said he’d have a look but when we returned from our outing he was behind the bar chatting and didn’t acknowledge us. The door wasn’t fixed. The shower/shampoo sachet was plastic, cheap and untearable. I’ve stayed in some bad places but constantly ducking low ceilings, sticking to hallway carpets or cheap vinyl floors, then encountering a bathroom smaller than my toilet … I’ll never visit again or recommend to anyone. It felt like a hostel fit the homeless with all the people sitting at tables on the patio outside, smoking. Be warned, be aware

Ok for a stop over, managed to find a lovely bar nearby, the atmosphere in the hotel bar was not for us. If you have mobility problems check your room is not in the area where there are flights of stairs & no lift.

No air conditioner, tv didn’t work so was unable to watch Olympics, rooms were hot and stuffy. Roof in the bathroom started leaking like a waterfall. Whole stay was just uncomfortable.

We booked the wrong dates and tried to change. Hotels.com staff couldn’t change the booking as no one at the hotel spoke English. We tried via email and never got a response, so asked our French Airbnb hosts to call, hotel refused to do anything over the phone and said they would reply to our email. Never heard from them. Terrible customer service avoid like the plague
