Arctic Resort Delight

Amazing apartment even better than I expected with a lovely sauna and backyard porch overlooking the lake. Owners were super friendly and helpful, lent me a bike or gave me a lift to where I needed to go so location wasn’t an issue at all for me (I usually rely on walking). Inside was gorgeous and clean I will definitely be back for longer next time.

The location of hotel good for driving a car, and it is very easy to get anywhere but not good for travel with local traffic.

Very quiet. Close to market and attractions. Property manager helped us with additional requests. Second bed was a kids trundle bed.

The accommodation was very homey. Simple but very comfortable. The owners Tohir and his lovely wife Victoria were very welcoming and accommodating.

Very good place... just a little isolated. Needed to get taxis everywhere which makes things very expensive. But a beautiful place.

The owners were so nice and even ordered a pizza for us since our phones didn't work.

Cons: This place DOES NOT have a fireplace as mentioned in the description. That was the ONLY reason I paid that amount and booked the apartment. It was such a disappointment. They also don't provide basic cutlery enough for 2 people. 1 spoon really? Also, no basic complimentaries in the bathroom. Please change your misleading description so that people booking this property are not deceived. Pros: Close to city and Santa village. Backyard has a beautiful lake directly behind. Property is clean.

We booked this instead of several other properties for a few reasons: it appeared to be close to things, we liked the idea of a fireplace and sauna, and there was an airport shuttle. Unfortunately, there wasn’t actually a fireplace and there wasn’t actually an airport shuttle. In fact, there wasn’t even a front desk, and this was in a very remote area. While the distance to other places wasn’t far, what you don’t realize is that there are only two cab systems, no front desk to help you get in touch with them, and their prices are extraordinary (they start at 9 euros before you even begin your ride). Some of this isn’t he fault of the property, but I do think some Of the amenities are misleading, and we would have either chosen not to stay here or chosen to rent a car had we had all the facts. The host is very responsive over text, which was nice, and was willing to call us taxis when needed. We did try to reach out to them Before we got there though, to find out about how to check in, and weren’t able to get a response by emailing or by using the contact form on their website. Not great if you’re in a foreign country without the ability to make calls. Furthermore, when I mentioned some of the discrepancies on the listing vs. what was actually available, the owner said he didn’t know about hotels.com

Convenient for driving travellers. Tranquil neighbourhood ideal for star gazing and Aurora watching. However, bedsheets and pillowcases need further cleaning.
