We loved our stay here. Each villa has its own small pool and a great view of the large lagoon. There was also a lovely hammock out back that was so comfy to lie on. The two rooms had AC so they were nice and cool as we slept. They also offer a very delicious breakfast, at an additional cost. A truly special and unique place.

Beautiful Tahitian home, right on the beach! Small pool included. Loved the Tahitian furniture and doors!! We were only able to stay one night, but it would have been so great to stay longer - since its a 2-bedroom, it would make a really nice 4-5 day stay for 2 couples. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Overall a nice place to stay with a few caveats. Easy check-in with the keys on the counter and quick response by email. We stayed in Aura where two rooms have AC and one does not - was not a problem for our stay. The third room has a fan. The rooms have plenty of open shelf space for clothes.The deck overlooking the lagoon and private pool were favorites. There was a nice breeze during our stay. Bring bug spray though (as with most places on island). It would have been nice to have hand towels and wash clothes, not just bath and beach towels. Also, some hooks in the bedroom to hang up towels or clothes. The shower has body wash and shampoo; some shelves for personal washing supplies would be helpful. There was a lot of roof noise one particular night from what we think were birds collecting seeds from the tree overhead. Our neighbors didn't have the same foilage so this may be specific to our Villa. It bothered some of us more than others, so if you are a light sleeper, the islands of Tahiti in general can be noisy with dogs, roosters and other wildlife. The WiFi worked well but we had to request the password. This proved difficulty since we had spotty personal service. There were chocolates left for us at check-in which was a nice welcome. Thank you for sharing your Villa with us.

Tahitian Honeymoon in Paradise

We stayed in Villa Tamanu for one of the nights during our honeymoon, and wished we would have stayed there the whole time. We loved the privacy and all the space. There were kayaks and the villa was right off the water. The pool and outdoor atmosphere was very relaxing. We would definitely stay there again.

A wonderful hidden gem...the property itself is very spacious, stylish and well equipped. The views from the patio area are stunning and it is incredibly quiet. Vaite looked after us amazingly well and made sure our last day in French Polynesia before returning home was extra special. Since it is far away from Tahiti, it is probably best to rent a car to explore the area as there is a lot to see.
