Comfortable business and tourist hotel
Parking ( ¥500 for the day and you could go in and out anytime) wasn’t free was a little disappointing as it is a little far from Hakodate downtown .. about 23 km . However if you do not like to be in the big city and do drive , it was an easy hotel to get to as it was next to the Shinkansen station. Somewhat isolated with open fields around . The room was quite new , tastefully done and comfortable, ( superior twin beds .. very comfortable ) larger than downtown hotels and had a separate shower room but no bath tub but there was an Onsen bath on the second floor. Breakfast, a Japanese style one was reasonable and tasty if you like that kind of breakfast with grilled fish , miso soup , sashimi, pickles and rice .. healthy one !

Clean and across from the JR Station was why we booked this stay, but we were so surprised that for the free breakfast since they knew we were Vegetarian that they out-did themselves with a beautiful and delicious special breakfast! Would love to stay again.

Very close to JR Shinkansen station. Easy to take train to everywhere. Convenience station in the same building. Hotel fairly new and room is large is Japanese standard.

A south Hokkaido gem
Amazing breakfast buffet. You can taste freshness of ingredients. The variety from deep Japanese ryotei tradition food to more modern Japanese beef curry to wonderful vegan selections. Milk products are superb. Also, excellent coffee. Staff are all so professional yet approachable. The open air hot spring bath was an added bonus. Location is perfect for having JR Pass day trips to Hakodate, Sapporo, and all other places in between. Little pricy but it is well worth it.
