    Basic but overall good experience

    It’s all a little dated and “tired”, but overall very acceptable for a short stay. Perfectly located within a few minutes walk from the station, and restaurants and bars on your doorstep. The staff were very friendly and even helped me find the lounge area when I needed somewhere quiet to work. Recommended if you are not expecting 5 star facilities.

    Cheap and simple- great location

    It's a very cheap hotel, so you don't get much. It has an excellent location, but otherwise few advantages. If you have heavy cases be aware that there are quite a few steps between the entrance door and reception. The room was clean enough but very worn and very few amenities. but the water was hot and the shower adequate. I didn't eat in the hotel. The staff I met were friendly.

    It's right in the city centre and very cheap, so can't really complain. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was powerful. However the room was very dark. It is almost touching the building next door, but brighter lamps could be installed. The plug sockets are the usual Swiss type J, but you can use EU type F plugs (only one at a time) because the pin holes are flush with the wall, rather than in the recessed flat-hexagonal hole which doesn't fit the large round head of type F. They still use huge metal keys rather than cards. You were supposed to leave the key at reception when going out, but this was not enforced.

    Nice, convenient hotel.

    The single room was comfortable but rather noisy at times. The shower didn't work at all well on the first morning but was fixed/replaced straight away when reported, so all was good again. A nice convenient and clean place to stay. I would stay there again.

    Review of LImmathoff Hotel.

    Nice hotel near the station. We did not take breakfast as lots of good places nearby to eat. Found a really great pub just down the road with good food adn entertainment. Would stay again if in area.

    Close to railway station. Public transport just across from hotel. Close to all amenities. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Only one concern was the shower been in a tub. Could do with upgrade as tub slippery and bad to get out could cause a fall. Otherwise great hotel.
