Canary Wharf Studios

I wish I had checked other reviews before booking, especially as so many seem to be from the same people and don’t have the best spelling or grammar. Pros, it’s inexpensive, relatively easy to find (thank you google) and is a pretty decent sized room. The lady that greeted me (even though I spoke to a man on the mobile as I arrived) was friendly and helpful. Cons, disappointing that there is no welcome pack with coffee, tea or anything like in most hotels. The bed wasn’t particularly comfortable and the duvet was so thin, had to have the radiator on full all night and use the very thin blanket from the end of the bed. Bathroom was quite small, which for a deluxe room is disappointing, toilet wouldn’t flush properly and the shower had no handle on the inside so I had to try and slide the door open to get out. Some of the blinds were missing, and the TV had about 6 channels tuned, the rest were unwatchable. Was given a WiFi code, which although it connected, wouldn’t give me access to anything on the internet or my email. Also, many suspicious smells when you open the door and went into the “patio” area, having said that, the patio door to get outside had to be slammed to actually close so it didn’t feel very safe. I had emailed about checking in around 7.30pm due to being in London for a photo shoot, which they said was fine. Little bit annoyed to receive a phone call around 5.30pm asking me when I will be arriving, and to then be told that would be quite late

Everything was excellent , the only issud i had was the bathroom was a little small , otherwise everything else was perfect

We stayed for 3 nights & 4 days. The studio is located in one building which is divided into small rooms of studios. It was super hot in UK when we stayed and there was no air flow in the room which made it difficult for us to have a good night sleep. However, they provided with fan which was good. As an overall stay, it was good.

Facilities were good and nicely kept. Would not mind staying again in the future. Close to everything nearby. 5 mins to canary wharf.

Friendly staff, however would be nice to have a later check in time, or check in via email

The service was excellent. Lady who met us and showed us to our room was so lovely and welcoming. Rooms and bathrooms were exceptionally clean. Would definitely stay again :)
