Clean, great location, easy check in. Didn’t like the shared bathroom because I prefer a private bathroom but due to the build and nature of the hotel they don’t have private bathrooms. (This is not meant to reflect badly on the hotel, it’s just my personal preference. The bathrooms were very clean!)

A wonderful find so near to the Old Town
I needed somewhere in Faro to stay overnight whilst waiting for a flight home. I looked and found the Sunlight House B&B which looked ideal die to it's proximity to the old town and value for money. From the greeting at the door, to the explanation of nearby attractions, to being taken to the room, the young man was delightful (unfortunately I did not catch his name). The room was clean and quiet and the terrace for breakfast did not disappoint. Breakfast was also lovely and quite a lot more than I was expecting. Cooked to order scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, toast, juice and even cake and an apple to follow. I would definitely stay there again.

Decent spot for a short stay
Wonderfully warm welcome. Lovely staff. The terrasse is very cute with a great view, and location is good for an overnight in Faro after a late arrival time. Good price. The hotel is maximum kitsch. The negatives are a small bathroom and a cat that’s marked its territory on the astroturf of the grass outside. Don’t stay on the ground floor and you’ll really enjoy.

Faro jewel for Value and Quality
Amazing. Our room was comfortable and the location is excellent, just one block from the old city and free parking is available. Phillips and Marius were delightful hosts. Phillips met us on arrival. There is a huge rooftop room and outdoor deck where you can relax, sip wine and enjoy the stars. The breakfast is huge and amazing. One of the best air b&b ever!

We loved staying at Sunlight House! It’s in a great location right next to the old town and a close (~10-15min) walk to the bus and train station. The breakfast is more than enough and they even packed us a breakfast for our early morning flight. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to our friends and family!
