No air conditioning!!!!
I can see why the outer appearance could be described as 'superb' but scratch the surface and it is not. The room we had was 24°c. It was February so goodness knows how unbearable a summer stay would be. We had to move rooms late into our second night of a three night stay due to how uncomfortable the heat was. Fans were provided but the windows had safety catches and the air was stale and hot. The new room had stained bedding but we were told there were no replacements after being given two single duvets for our double bed, and we were left to remake our bed and make do at around 1.30am after getting dressed and packing up. My pillow smelt of aftershave and the pillows looked old and bobbly. It woyld help if they used pillow protectors too. We were absolutely shattered after two nights of hardly sleeping and came back to our room to sleep for a few hours on the second day. Wexspent nearly £400 for a 3 night stay expecting a bit of luxury but it was far from it unfortunately. An impressive looking hotel but customer service, cleanliness and comfort HAS to be top priority.
