Charming and centrally located boutique hotel. Within 3 minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes from the old town, this hotel is a winner. Cozy rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. A perfect base while discovering the beautiful city of Zurich.

Beautiful quirky central hotel.
Lovely quirky little hotel. Rooms were a good size and very comfortable. Excellent central location close to train and trams. Reception was closed when we checked in (11pm) but the staff in the bar were prepared for our arrival, greeted us with a glass of prosecco and checked us in no problem

Great location. Good value for money. Comfortable room. I really was positively surprised by Townhouse boutique hotel. Starting with the check in and a welcome prosecco. Staff was super friendly and efficient. The room was bigger than expected, bed comfortable, interior very pleasant and high quality toiletries. I didn't try their breakfast, but it looked inviting. Location is literally a 5 minute walk from the train tracks of the central station. It took me about 30 minutes (check out 3 min, walk to station 5 min, buy ticket and walk to track 5 min, wait for train 2 min, train ride 8 min, walk to airline check in 7 min) from leaving my room to the airline check in counter at the airport. You can walk to many places (old town, lake, shopping and restaurants) from the hotel. I would stay here again.

We stayed here one night only between arrival in Zurich by train and a next day flight. For that purpose, as a one night stay near the station, it was excellent. Close location to station and shops, comfortable bed and relatively quiet. If you were planning a longer stay, you need to be aware of these issues - no full screen TV, no climate control (other than a window), small room. One thing that annoyed us was the early noisy vacuuming near our room (around 7am) and the presence of cleaning equipment in the small hallway right in front of the lift, obstructing the opening of the lift door to go in with large suitcases.

Great location, close to train station. My only complaint is the room temperature, no thermostat, and the room was too warm.

Honestly this is a super convenient hotel and we found our room to be good. The reason my ratings are not higher are because we were in room 17 directly above the Pallette cafe / bar - owned by this hotel. Thumping music until 12.30, despite officially closing at 12. Ugh.
