About this cabin
This charming original chink log cabin, “River’s Edge” built in 1910, sits on almost an acre of riverfront property. It has 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, laundry room, large master bedroom, 2 fireplaces, free WiFi, modern TVs, DVD’s with DVD library. Sleeps 6. The large screened in front porch is superb for dining or reading a book. The property has a large deck overlooking the river, a spacious fire pit area, gas and charcoal grills, and a 6 person hot tub. Look us up on FB to find out about the many year round activities: fishing, kayaking, tubing, golfing, skiing, snowboarding, wildlife viewing, rock climbing, mountain biking and spelunking. Relax, you are in a Cabin!!
What an awesome getaway, deep in the mountains!! The sounds of the river and the views were breath taking. The cabin was exactly what we were expecting! It was perfectly decorated for Christmas and very cozy!! We had everything we needed and relaxed a lot! The hot tub was awesome, the fire put was perfect for making s’mores, the beds were comfortable, and the property was beautiful!! We loved every single minute of it!! The perfect place by the river!
My husband and I just wanted a getaway for a few days. This little log cabin did not disappoint. It was perfect! We had all our meals by the river and spent the rest of the day reading, fishing, and sitting outside. The cabin has all the amenities you need, new kitchen appliances, and a newly renovated bathroom. Highly recommend.

Perfect Getaway Spot!
We needed to get away -- COVID did a number on our family! This was the perfect spot for us. Relaxing, gorgeous views, peaceful surroundings, nearly no one about and yet still enough modern conveniences that we didn't feel too remote/out of touch. This place has the perfect blend of rustic and modern to be comfortable --an old timey feel but the kitchen, bathroom and master bedroom have been updated. The hot tub was perfectly situated for views of the water. The river was clean, cold and shallow enough for kids to easily play. We'll definitely be back!

Absolutely perfect!
If you are looking for a rustic getaway that will make you take a long needed deep breath upon entering, this is the place! Our family of 6 loved everything about this place. The kids could swim, fish, kayak right out in front of the house while we relaxed in the hammock, read on the deck or sat in the hot tub. The toilet is piped with the hot water, so that was a little alarming at first with small kids. The toilet literally steams as it fills and the tank gets HOT, so be aware of it. A truly beautiful spot for enjoying the moment and letting it all go.

Hoping to return
Our group included two couples and an infant. We LOVED this cabin and hope to return again :) Pictures do not do this property justice. We enjoyed the views from the deck, hot tub, fire pit, and screened in porch. The water was shallow the weekend we were there but it was perfect for us to hang out in some tubes. Would definitely recommend this rental to family and friends!

Tiffany is excellent!
I loved Tiffany's cabin! It had a gorgeous spot on the river and the hot tub and fire pit were an amazing bonus. Our dog loved watching the fish swim in the river while we relaxed. There was a mix up with the cleaner because we scheduled last minute and Tiffany called immediately to apologize. I really appreciate the customer service and she was so nice! Thanks so much for the amazing stay!

Great stay!
Great little cabin right on the river! Hot tub was very nice and clean. Cabin was so cozy! Upstairs was a little too much for me lol. You can see through the floor boards and it moves a lot. I only went up once and was scared to walk around the floor moved so much! It does say that there is a bathtub, there’s only a stand up shower. Made it difficult to bathe my 5 year old who takes baths. The bed was decent, a little firm for my liking but overall it was ok and clean. Very clean place! Great proximity to town, far enough away from everything. But close enough to go have dinner every night. I plan on renting again when it’s warm so we can go in the river! It’s a beaut place with a historic feel which I love. We had a great stay, and will be back!

Beautiful escape on the river
We loved this spot. It was the coolest property, and has rustic charm. The hot tub was a huge hit as well. We hope the road takes us back through this town, because we’d love to stay here again.
