I had to book this hotel on a whim because the place opposite gave my room away because my train from Albuquerque broke down. Although it didn't have a full kitchen (something I look for, but it was 2:30am) there is a store right behind it with plenty of fresh and frozen food to prepare.
The beds are super comfy. The A/C is a little old and musty smelling when on cool, but that was fine because I always travel with scented candles.
I am on an every-state-in-America trip for the next 4 years, but also have to work every day, so peace and quiet is very important. This hotel is great for that. It's busy in the evenings but never noisy.
I say it IS great for that because I extended my stay for an extra 2 weeks. Lots to do in Shreveport, and a perfectly good place to come back to.
Last but most certainly not least...the staff here are awesome. Very friendly and professional. Handled any issues promptly to 100% satisfaction. If I come back to Shreveport, I'll stay here.
