      Convenient location but that’s it.

Great location but small rooms and inconsistent service. Towels and bath mat were the smallest, thinnest and cheapest I have seen. No restaurant or room service. Bar food was pretty good. There is a bar with loud music underneath the hotel, which was very annoying on Friday and the weekend.

Very nice hotel but sleep is difficult.

Service, room, cleanliness, and location were excellent but the a/c was too loud, more so than the individual units in inexpensive motels. Moreover, it cycled off and on very frequently making sleep difficult. Otherwise the hotel was great.

      Great Hotel

Location was amazing. Staff was extremely friendly. Property was beautiful. Comfortable room. Complimentary breakfast was good. I’m sure a less expensive hotel could be found, but I feel I got great value for the price. If I’m in the DC area again, I would definitely stay here again.

      Overall Review

Overall hotel is in a great location on the warf. Noise levels from music is an issue till 11pm. Water pressure for shower is terrible. Bed extremely comfortable. Outlets next to bed be need to be addressed, limited. Exterior signage and finding entrance can be difficult for new comers. Location usually trumps everything and it gets an A.

A great example of genuine customer service.

Chad welcomed us at the Front Desk, registered us, and clearly explained all that we needed to know to enjoy our stay. The staff, to a person, was thoughtful and kind, genuinely engaging with our questions and wonderments. We felt very safe and comfortable, most relaxing. The staff was very customer service oriented, which fostered a sense of appreciation of our presence. Should our future plans include a return to our nation's capital, we would want to stay, once again, at Hyatt House.

      Okay hotel !

My son and I went on a weekend trip to Washington DC. We were very excited and a friend recommended the Hyatt house located at the Wharf area. The area is lively and definitely tons of restaurants bars and shops. I checked in at the Hyatt house and it was very quick and they allowed me to check in early. My room appeared clean and orderly. However the area between the carpet and the parquet floor of the kitchen was the main issue. The staples of the carpet were out and my son cut his toe walking through it. It was a shame because the room was very nice ans great view but what an unfortunate overlook in part of housekeeping and maintenance who could easily have fixed the problem. I let the front desk know as I was checking out and she comped my parking. The other problem I had was the slamming of the exit door next to me during the middle of the night. I get that it’s a party town but the constant banging of the exit door was loud and woke me up several times.
