Memorable Sardinia holiday
The description of the location being on the seafront is very liberal. It was a good 5/10 mins walk to the nearest beach. We couldn't even see the sea from our apartment! Maria was there to let us in, and was very friendly. The apartment was spacious, and clean. It did seem odd that there was no kettle,toaster or microwave. Also the ignition for the hob didn't work so we were given a lighter! We were only left 1 roll of toilet paper (for ten nights ) and the bed linen or towels were never changed. I don't know if this is typical in Sardinia but seemed unusual compared to the holidays we had in the Canaries. That said they are in a nice area and only a 5/10 minute walk to the harbour/marina area which is very vibrant with plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants. The boat trip to Maddelena was fantastic and the beaches in Palau are fabulous. Would we stay again? Yes!
