Welcoming place, front desk gentleman was great!
I made the mistake of not wearing socks, or shoes while walking around my room. By the time I was getting ready to sleep, I noticed that my feet were no longer clean. They were actually black from the Filthy carpet in the room. Bed was very comfortable, couch & desk chair not so much. Very welcoming @check in.

The valet is rude but the hotel is good.
Pros... the manager Bergundi was excellent. He was more than helpful and so pleasant. We couldn’t have asked for better when it came to him. The other African American gentleman was also great. If all hotels had these two men working there they would be lucky. Cons...the valet. The high cost a day when says they have free parking at this hotel. Before we came we called and talked directly to the valet. We explained that we weren’t comfortable with anyone in our car due to Covid. He said that there were plenty of free parking around the hotel where people could park 24/7 and that he understood. This was not true at all. When we went to unload our bags the valet was rude and told us we had to pull up to the edge of the street and weren’t allowed to unload in front. We ended up having to park several blocks away in a garage that was less than pleasant and was not even close to free. We stayed a week. During that time every time we had to walk blocks to get our car. Daily it was often hard to even walk out of the hotel since the valet parked numerous cars in the driveway. Upon checkout we had to go get our car and tried to bring it to the hotel to load our bags. The valet ripped the keys away from us telling us he was going to move our car out of where it was because it was in his way. He then was hateful that we needed to load our car. We were told they are contracted and not part of the hotel. Overall all was great except the parking and the valet.

It was okay
The staff was really nice but when we booked the room nowhere did it say that rooms didn’t have microwaves or bathtubs. Also the breakfast was not very good.

Nothing special about our stay
Upon our arrival was told sold out of Kings beds which was my reservation. As couple we were upset until a lady standing close by said she cancelled a room and the attendant seemed upset to look for it. As she was watching greys anatomy on her computer and didn’t seem to interested in making sure we were comfortable. We did get the room and got to room and saw the cleanliness seal was broken. With Covid 19 and the seal broken we called that same attendant and she lied saying it must have just been put on wrong. Then stated some had went in room to put in extra towels. Which also sounded like a fast lie to get back to her Show on her computer. Thankfully we brought our own sanitizing spray and sprayed the room for our safety. The parking was expensive and the service was sub par at best. Nothing they did was for customer appreciation. Only one person throughout our stay made me want to tip which I did other than that the car was just sitting with key in it no one around it. So our stay was ok. Hopefully this review is seen by someone in management. With all that’s going on the key is make people feel comfortable and safe while staying there for lodging.

Clean, but front desk employee not wearing mask
Even though the sign on the door says masked required, the male morning desk employee was not wearing one. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was a choice of a prepackaged muffin or a Nutragrain bar and warm orange juice.

Our stay there was a great experience, front desk staff was very welcoming. I was disappointed about the breakfast and rooftop area not being open due to COVID 19. But otherwise a great experience.
