Loved the view of the lake from our room/deck. Our room was very spacious, clean, bed was very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant/bar located on the property served very good food. Couple things we didn’t like: the restaurant/bar was just underneath us on the lower level so we heard a lot of loud noise at night when we were trying to go to sleep (around 11:00 PM). Also there was no table in the room, I suspect because the whirlpool tub was in the corner where it would have gone. But it meant we had to eat sitting in bed. Also, the room needed another lamp somewhere on the side by the patio door. That side of the room, where the tub sits, is dark.

Quiet, beautiful, close to the ski and tubing hill. Lots of fire pits and firewood to make your own fires to sit by, huge ice skating rink, lots of ice fishing and snowmobiling.

It is a very nice place but I think the front desk person should be a little more informed and able to answer the correct answers. Miss informed on when the restaurant and bar closed. And the front desk. Make sure if you reserve a room with a hot tub that it is one with one. I reserved on with the picture of the room I was reserving and it had a hot tub but I guess it did not. Otherwise I was a good experience.

This was absolutely fabulous resort. We were there for NY Eve and we wanted a cozy place. Clean, completely remodeled and loved the fireplace in the room. The only downside was due to covid all food everywhere in Minnesota was take out or delivery. One day....life may be normal again.
