Best hostel I’ve stayed in
This was by far one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. The environment definitely felt it was geared towards university aged people but still has a great family atmosphere. My only complaint would have to be the hours of the kitchen. I do wish it opened a few hours earlier in the day for guest to grab some lunch, but other than that my entire stay was amazing! The staff, the food, the bartenders were all amazing! I’ll definitely be coming back on my next trip out to the Milan area.

Great
Polite and helpful staff. Good wifi. Lots of spaces to relax, cook or study. Slighlty on the more expensive side but they do offer lots of free stuff. Cheap ok breakfast. Lots of people in the afternoon and evenings in the lobby drinking and chatting, that you have to really squeeze past to get in or out. Felt like a night club in the evenings. All in all, it's a great good place if you like meeting lots of people, spending a bit more for comfort, or the central location

I booked one night in a single private room. I was only going to be in Milan for one night in order to catch an international flight so I needed something basic, clean, and close to the train station. I was not looking for anything fancy so I was totally fine with the minimal amenities in the room. The bed was actually quite comfortable for a twin. I really appreciated the safety measures they took given the proximity to the train station (key codes in the elevator and on the room door). The shower was very small, which I know is fairly common in Europe, but the way this one was laid out, it was almost impossible to raise my arms without banging into either the shower head and or the shelf. One thing that I personally did not like was that the reception area is adjacent to/ basically a part of the bar. I had a late train and had to walk through rain to get to the place; the last thing I felt like dealing with at that moment was blasting music and drunk college kids in the middle of me trying to check in to my room and get a glass of water. Obviously hostels see a lot of young people, which is fine. I just wish they would rethink having the bar literally right in your face when you arrive. I was afraid that it would be noisy, given what I dealt with in the lobby. I am happy to say, though, that once it was past 11pm or so it got quiet and people were pretty respectful in the hallways when they entered/exited their rooms. Overall, I was satisfied with it for what I needed.
