Tavistock is a wonderful hotel central to London and close by public transport. The breakfast was exceptionally good and the staff were friendly and approachable and supported every query. I would have provided an extra star, the lack of air-conditioning was a negative as temperatures were over 25 at night.

Pleasant traditional English hotel located at a shady square in the heart of London-Bloomsbury. Easy walk from both King's Cross and Euston Station. We had a basic twin room, which was small, but clean and comfortable. Stayed in London during a heatwave and although our room didn't have aircon, we had a fan and thick curtains to keep the sun and heat out. Could also open the windows to let the night air in, so lack of aircon wasn't a problem for the one night we stayed. Rooms seemed soundproof, didn't hear our neighbours at all. Pleasant and helpful staff, we stored our luggage before check-in as we arrived early. All in all, would stay here again.
