My room had garbage from the previous guests in the washroom, my partner’s shower was like he was taking a bath, my shower had no pressure
I reserve a room with "city view", and I got a room in the first floor without a window, and they told me... "we are sorry" I did this reservation and pay directly to Cheaptikets for a room with a view, not without it!! I am completly disapointed with this.
I liked the location next to popular restaurants and bars. The room I received needed new beds, if your looking for a pin drop hotel this may not be, during the weekends, needs to have hotter water, better curtains, the breakfast was included with stay(was good during the week) weekend was not that satisfying. Would stay again just needs a few touch ups. Staff friendly.
Good area and safe lots of restaurants and places to go and shop
It might just have been room 13, but there was a lot of loud music and general noise from the nearby restaurant, street and hotel corridors. I could hear conversations at the front desk quite clearly. Above me a couple were have a romantic getaway and their bed loudly knocking into the wall was so bad items in my room were shaking. I hope there are quieter rooms elsewhere in the hotel. The room also doesn't have a real window, just a heavily frosted glass pane into the public courtyard, so it feels dark and cave like. The front desk staff were lovely and turned around my laundry in a few hours on a Sunday. Breakfast was ok but I was disappointed to not be able to just get some fruit and a scrambled egg, no veering off from the set breakfast dishes here. There is hot water and teabags in the reception which is a nice touch. The room was pretty, clean, and the bed comfortable, bathroom was clean, but overhead showerhead only, no adjustable showerhead or tub so you can't comfortably shower without getting your hair wet. And then no hairdryer unless you ask for it. Area is loud and hectic but feels safe and is walkable, if you're a single woman just be aware you might get catcalled. Lots of shopping dining and drinking options and close to culture. I wouldn't stay again just because it was so loud and cave like I couldn't relax properly, but i just chose the wrong hotel for me on this occasion.
A very clean and comfortable hotel. Staff was super nice! We stayed 3 different places in Guatemala and this was the most memorable.
5 stars in all. One of my best experiences I have had with an hotel employees, manager, front desk, services, cleaning, dinner, everything. I am so happy staying there. When ever I visit Guatemala, for sure I will select this hotel always. Employees and manager are amazing. For sure I will recomend this hotel to everybody. You will love it.. Since you get out of the car, there is one man waiting to help you carring your bags. They watch for your security with uber or taxi. Really excellent and the best administration and employees. Thanks for all of you for making our vacations an amazing one
Bedroom and bed were too small for a couple, hot water didn't work. And my spouse fell down in bedroom coming out of the bathroom becouse there was a step down right out the door. She hurted her knee and elbow. I requested transportation service from the airport to this hotel because they offer it. I ended up having to get our own transportation since nobody showed up. I chose this place because it included breakfast which was very simple, but the place was too expensive for what they have to offer.
The room was perfect and very modern feeling. We were greeted by very nice front staff and enjoyed our stay. Will stay again.
Felt very homely. Could see they believe in giving their costumers the best. I love that it was close to where I needed to be, just within 5 minutes walk.
