The property is conveniently located within an 8 minute walk of the train station. We booked a mountain view and it was well worth it for the gorgeous Matterhorn sunrise view. We traveled with our dog, who was very comfortable in the room with us. The staff was friendly and easy to communicate with. Many restaurants, shops and transportation options are within walking distance. Perfect locations for us and our dog.

Very large room by European standards. Immaculately clean. Comfortable bed. Very good shower water pressure. Choose room with balcony that has view of Matterhorn. Located a short 5 minute walk from town center in quiet area, Gornergrat railroad goes by during daytime but this is not a problem. Very pleasant and helpful staff. I definitely recommend this property. Only negatives are no elevator and no included breakfast,

It’s a skiing town with lots of trails. Lots of people. Easy access to trails. Good breakfast. You have to go down a main road where the electric taxis circulate in order to go into town. It can be a little treacherous.
