So much to do with kids in the hotel- you don't even need to leave a property: Waterpark, arcade, mini golf, roller skating ring, lazer tag and carts racing.

The hotel was nice and the staff were friendly and professional. Need more soap and towels for king size bedroom, It’s look like the hotel is trying to save money, however it will be nice to have more than 1 little soap , 1 little shampoo and 1 little conditioner for 2 people... Fortunately, we had brought our own things. Otherwise, everything went well, the staff is great! The room was clean

The front desk check in was smooth and friendly. Valet parking was excellent. Sammy is always great! The arcade games are sooo much fun even as an adult. The concept for this AC hotel is brilliant. On the beach and conveniently located near casinos like Ocean and Hard Rock. We would have liked more dining options in the hotel. Operator/Guest services that you call from the room could have been more responsive. Our room was comfortable, clean and nice. There was no hair dryer and the toilet seat was detached from one side which was startling when it slipped. We stay here often and will be back.

The only reason we stayed here was because we were seeing a show at the ocean and they did not have availability. I don't even know why they stay in operation. It was like I could almost smell the place decomposing. It was pretty awful. The only good thing I can say about it is the staff was super nice and friendly. Otherwise, avoid like the plague.

This hotel seems to always have some guest arguing/ fighting with each other OR the hotel staff. It’s a very kid friendly hotels— which is great for families in AC. Every time i go is always an issue somewhere in the hotel. Just over staying here, next time staying somewhere else. Great activities for the kids— but that’s it. It smells & there’s no up-keeping to the hotel. The elevators need to be cleaned professionally, the carpets are old. This hotel was beautiful years ago— like i said no much up-keeping with it.

Perfect location on the Boardwalk. Nice view of The Steel Pier from our room. Indoor pool park was very relaxing for both youth and adults. This facility is family oriented with plenty of fun for kids of all ages from 3 to 83. It still has the touch of elegance from its former Casino days.

Place is good. Not great, not awesome. Nasty smell on the ground level. Room was mostly clean. Lots of details are missed. Stains on the carpet, burn holes here and there. The outside of the windows are filthily. I know it's a high rise but they need a good cleaning. Having a hotel next to a beach is hard to maintain, other hotels can do it. Overall my stay was nice, and I would consider staying there again. Always depends on the price. You get what you pay for.

This was my first time at Showboat. Staff were friendly and courteous. The upgrade to a suite was clean. Unfortunately, there were some lights that didn't work. Unfortunately, the property looks worn and the whole hotel could use a remodel. We returned to the Showboat after the concert at Ocean Resort wanting to spend our time and money at the hotel. We were disappointed in the lack of open restaurants and bars. So, we went back to Ocean Resort and spent our time there. I do realize that the Showboat is family friendly, which is wonderful. Just maybe spend some time re evaluating some areas to accommodate the people that actually pay to stay at the hotel it would certainly bring in revenue to freshen up this hotel

Very kid friendly and despite the reviews i encountered staff was nice, complaint was that the pool for the guest was not in service and that during checkout only 3 elevators were working when there are six that should be working so it took me 20 minutes to wait on elevators to get to the lobby to check out besides that I had a great trip.

Only one elevator worked. No coffee in the rooms. The additions to make it a family .focused hotel[resort] is great BUT what about the rest of the hotel.

We were given only a partial ocean view room. The room smelled of marijuana when we walked in. The cleaning ladies came into our room multiple times without knocking or giving a heads up. Location was great with many amenities on property. When we tried to call the front desk before we checked in, no one picked up the phone multiple times and we were not able to connect.
