    Wouldn’t stay again

    Found staff pretty rude. Receptionist and a lady bar attendant very nice. No price list for mini bar (minor) no milk for tea with breakfast, even thought they serve cereal !! One day they had run out of tea ! Lovely new bathroom but shower started to block up by day 3 going down very slowly, reported it nothing done, day 4 it was slightly worse, when you flushed the toilet water came up in the shower and in day 5 when we were leaving the shower was making noise and the tray was full of human toilet.

    Lovely bedroom and view of the promenade. Great breakfast sat out by promenade. Shame no luggage space when we left as had late flight home! Had to pay Grayline to store until later.

    Very terrible hotel. Limited lighting which turns off in 10 seconds in hallways to room. Bathroom did not flush and hotel management unreachable. Free breakfast is at the hotel restaurant and effectively disgusting. Room cleanliness is questionable (carpets dirty and beds stained). Only positive is the location - it’s on Split promenade right at the edge of old city so very convenient for walking and ferry access.

    Really great and safe location right on the harbour - I was a solo traveller with a heavy suitcase and this location was perfect as there were no stairs to climb to. Reception staff were really nice.

    No A/C or WiFi functioning

    For the entire three night stay, the air conditioning did not work properly despite the manager’s attempt to fix it. And the WiFi didn’t function either. Very disappointing for the price of the room!

    We arrived late and there was a person waiting there to check us in. However, it took a very long time to check us in because he could not figure out how to use the copier to copy our passports. Luckily my wife had an extra copy. They do everything by hand so even the check-out process was time consuming. The breakfast that was apparently included we were told started at 7:30am. We went there and the person (not in uniform) told us that it starts at 8am. We found another option instead. The room was dated, the bed hard. The view from the room was excellent! Spilt had a festival and there were many people who slept and vomitted on the main strip near the water. However, the city had it all cleaned up before 8am it seemed. The city of Split outside of the tourist area was trash and graffiti filled. You can definitely tell there was a war recently and the country has not yet recovered fully. Hopefully our tourist dollars will help with that! Croatia is an exceptionally beautiful country!

    No staff on the reception desk had to find a waiter to get our keys . Only stayed one night but was given a room with broken aircon when it was over 80 outside so had to move rooms, no imformation in rooms for TV or how to phone down to reception , paid a lot of money for a delux room which was very small and not delux in any way , a very sub standard overpriced hotel
