Last minute booking with late arrival. Hotel called and advised us of how to do after hours check in. All went well. Cabin was spacious and clean. Close to Mount Rushmore. Would reccomed if looking for something different than a chain hotel.

We enjoyed being in this beautiful setting so close to Mt. Rushmore and downtown Keystone. Great hiking out the back of the cabin and nice people.

Our stay in Keystone was wonderful. The accommodations were ok except the queen mattress needed to be replaced. Also when we turned on the heat it had a musty smell and made both of us very lightheaded so we just shut it off and remained cold.

Great place. Only downside is the sites are super close together.

My wife and I spent there 3 nights. Magnificent location. The cabin was a old-time classic but very comfy. The only remark is about the Resort entrance’s scarse signaling. Coming from Keystone City in the night, the entrance on the left in unmarked, without any light. This accommodation would deserve a 5/5 rating, but the lack of nighttime indication was something that did not make me, a senior driver, feeling comfortable.

The sleeper cabin was very well maintained. It was just the right size for our family of four to sleep, shower and head out for the next day adventure. We did not spend a lot of time at the cabin outside of sleeping. We did bring a small gas grill and had a few meals there. I would definitely recommend it as a home base while exploring the area.
