Loft Habana

The hotel is very safe with 24-hour security, The Cuban people as a whole are very gentle and nice, but extra security is a good thing to have. We had about ten keys to keep track of that were attached to a big heavy bar, I didn’t really like being responsible for so many keys (especially since we only needed three to get into the room), it weighted things down a bit. It is just outside of the center and where everything is happening, which we thought would mean quiet and sleeping in - no, it’s a community there and people are up early and talking and yelling to each other - so bring ear plugs if you want to sleep in :) There is internet once in the morning at breakfast for three hours, but don’t rely on wifi/internet in Cuba in general, it’s not good whether you buy wifi or get a SIM card or where you are, it’s unreliable everywhere in Cuba. There is a full breakfast, eggs, bread, fresh squeezed justice and coffee, but they will be out of things on the menu and it’s not that great, except for the juice and coffee. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful and accommodating, I can see this hotel really tries, and that was a great feeling. Also, it’s by the water, but it’s not a beach, there is a cement wall called the Malecon that blocks the water, I don’t think it’s swim-able anyway, but I didn’t realize that before I booked. Next time I want to stay in the center, but I did enjoy the loft.

The room looks great and clean. This hotel doesn’t have a lift if you have problem climbing up few flight of stairs I wouldn’t recommend this. Overall it’s a great hotel. Staff are friendly and accommodating 😊

Seriously overpriced for its condition and service. But nice location and view. Taxi drivers sitting outside will overcharge you 100% if they notice you’re a tourist. Walk a few steps to the main Avenue, hire a taxi from there. The Loft runs out of things constantly but that is also true for 5 star hotels like the Gran Manzana and Packard so they get a pass. The staff is very friendly. The room was clean, good air conditioner, and hot water. The area around the hotel is dirty and run down but safe.

The rooms were very clean and modern. The staff were polite, kind and very helpful. They would go the extra mile to make sure you enjoyed your stay.

We had a lovely time partly due to the hospitality and friendly staff at the Loft. The staff went out of their way to assist us in every aspect from our arrival to departure. Location great. Breakfast great and ample. Rooms near, clean, quiet and cool. View from our room and rooftop stunning. Great value for money. We highly recommend the Loft.

Quarto bem bonito e agradável! Chuveiro e ar condicionado ótimos. Terraço/área comum com um vista linda e drinks ótimos também. Sem falar no atendimento e cordialidade do pessoal. Ótima experiência.

Nice design of the rooms. Really good a la carte breakfast. Do miss a real 24h reception to get information. Wifi is a general problem in Cuba and is really unstable at this hotel.
