When we arrived, I was told I had no reservation, but I had copy of the confirmation from hotels.com. I should’ve tried to find another motel, it was a sign. The motel rating is very wrong, it should be a 2 star. The clerk was adequate, but far from friendly. The room we were given had very foul odors, did not look clean, so we got a different room. When I turned the keys in for the foul room, I heard someone I couldn’t see, asking the clerk how I liked the room I was given, and was told, she didn’t, she ask for a different room. The second room looked and smelled cleaner, but when going to take a shower, I discovered the tub had black ask looking debri around the drain, the shower curtain had black mold on it, also the sheets were old and thread bare. The carpeting in both rooms looked to be newer, that’s the only plus. The toilet was rocking, and needed to be reseated, not safe to sit on. No WIFI either! Forget about the continental breakfast, it’s minimal and didn’t look fresh, so it was a wash as well, we only took coffee, which wasn’t bad. Thanks God we we’re only in town for one night. This place needs a major remodel inside and out. And new management, in my opinion. Also, was charged a $30/night pet fee for a 6 lb dog, which was not stated in the rental information. Would not stay here again.
