Winter is not a month for this property and it is overpriced for what it can offer this time of the hear. Holistic approach in progress so organic has not set in. Owner and staff very nice and forthcoming.

Paradise found
This property is amazing! Cozy, elegant, and picturesque...they really make you feel at home. The breakfast on the terrace was lovely and the grounds stunning. Sea was a few feet away. The pool was at your doorstep. Only suggestion, some new pool furniture to match the beautiful surroundings. I will be back to enjoy this property again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

NIE WIEDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wir waren vor einigen Jahren schon mal in der Villa Astra und waren sehr begeistert und zufrieden. Leider hat diesmal gar nichts gepasst. Die Villa sowie der Garten sind sehr ungepflegt. In der ganzen Villa finden sich für diese alte ehrwürdige Villa unpassende Bilder und Sprüche. Im Zimmer wurde manchmal lediglich das Bett aufgeschüttelt. Badezimmer wurde eine Woche lang nie gereinigt, manchmal!!! wurden wenigstens die Handtücher gewechselt. Frühstück (kaum Auswahl) für diesen Preis eine Frechheit. Noch nie so schlecht gewohnt und gegessen. Das wenige Personal war allerdings sehr freundlich und hat sich bemüht.

Atmosphäre sehr gut, individuelle Urlaubssituation, traumhafte Lage. Hervorragende Matratzen Schönheitsfehler: Anspruch und Wirklichkeit stimmen nicht überein. Beispiel: reparaturbedürftige Gartenmöbel, Außenanlagen pflegebedürftig, fehlt gelegentlich Liebe zum Detail, was in dieser Preiskategorie zu erwarten wäre. Sehr viel Improvisation.

Boutique-Hotel, alte Villa, direkt am Strand
das Hotel hat romantisches Ambiente, Garten, Pool, ruhige Lage, direkten Zugang zum Meer, Parkplätze. Nur 7 Zimmer, d.h. geringe Gästeanzahl. Ideal für einen Urlaub der gehobenen Klasse, das war auch der Preis mit € 285.- Zimmer/Nacht. Leider liess das Hotelmanagement zu wünschen übrig - z.b. Sauberkeit (Staub in allen Ecken, tote Fliegen auf Fensterbrettern); Der Empfang bei unserer Ankunft war wenig freundlich, die Englischkenntnisse mangelhaft. Ausstattung der Zimmer: spartanisch, abgewohnt und nicht 5* entsprechend. Bett hat gequietscht, Parkettboden desolat, Sofa hatte deutliche Benutzungsspuren, kein WLAN in den Zimmern; winzige Sessel am Balkon waren nur zum trocknen der Badesachen zu gebrauchen. Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und abwechslunglsreich mit Gemüsegerichten, kalter Platte und Eiergerichte (auf Bestellung). Nur einmal wöchentlich wird ein 4 gängiges Abendmenü angeboten, welches geschmacklich gut war, jedoch hatten Aufmachung und Service kein 5* Niveau. Die einzige beleuchtung war eine kerze am tisch. das hotel stellt handtücher für die Liegen im garten bereit, jedoch waren bereits Mittags keine mehr verfügbar.
