A pleasant stay in Kathmandu!
Everything was super nice, the room was clean, AA worked fine, no issue, and the service was good! Rajan (the desk guy) was super friendly and helpful. We recommend staying here if you want a pleasant stay in Kathmandu. The only negative point was maybe the lack of hot water but aside from that, all good! Also the location is perfect and near many places to eat at day or late night (we went walking to eat dinner at 3 am around Thamel area and felt safe). Strongly Recommended!

This hotel is in a good location in Thamel, Kathmandu close to bars, restaurants, shopping and temples. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are large, clean and have good amenities. The WIFI works well. Breakfast is good. We stayed here on several occasions for multiple nights and enjoyed our stays. Would recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, staff, location in Thamel
Perfectly located within Thamel, which is where all the restaurants, shop vendors, and bars are located. However, it's down a side street, so it's really quite. You can walk anywhere, which is what you want in Kathmandu. This is the heart of the city. The rooms at Hotel Jay are spacious and clean and the bed is comfortable. Special shout-out to Rajan at Front Desk, who has made my time here really easy. He has given me suggestions on everything I have needed -- taxi fare expectations, restaurants, laundry, and tourist attractions. He speaks great English, which isn't always the case with most people you meet in Kathmandu. Highly recommend this hotel!
