Room was clean and spacious. Wi-Fi was AWFUL, racked up a big data bill because if it. The room was very scare on amenities and only had the bare minimum.

How is this property a 9+ rating and a 4-star?
The hotel is middle of nowhere and it is not a walkable street from the main road so we had to take a taxi every single time. But this is just the start... There is no way this hotel is 4 stars and here are the reasons why: 1. When we first entered the bathroom it smelled like mold and we found out why. There was an entire row of black mold on the edge of the shower door. After our first night, we told them and they came to clean it during the day but again the rooms should be in clean condition before guests come in. 2. We found mold (again) on the wall, right below the AC, which is the reason why the room felt damp and moldy overall. We tried lowering the temperature but it still smelled moldy. 3. The bed felt like a rock. 4. Don't think the walls, windows nor ceilings are thick enough because we could hear someone dragging a chair at night, could hear airplanes pass by, and the guests across the hallway. The only good things we could think of: were a clean lobby, nice staff in the cafe, and decent food at the restaurant. But overall, we don't understand how this property has a 9+ review and it is supposedly a 4-star hotel.
