The entire staff was great very friendly very professional. I enjoyed my stay the room is great you have your own space to put your luggage and put lock. Everyday someone comes to clean your room and put new towels and the bathroom has enough toilets and showers to accommodate everyone.

Staying with friends

Stayed with a friend for a couple of nights. Since our room was not ready at check in time, we were proactively upgraded to a better twin room which was awesome. I really like the vibe of the place, with its swimming pool, young and vibrant atmosphere, and many activities, so I would highly recommend both the dorms and the private rooms, as this place provide a haven from bustling Patong beach. The location is really good, 3 minutes walking distance from the beach.

Comfy bed with fluffy pillows

As always Lub D Patong never disappoint whenever i stayed over. Stayed on 8th-10th July and Lub D keep improving their room ammenities especially room comfort. Perfect bed matched with fluffy pillows. Lub D will always be my choice of accomodation in Patong as its a perfect location to anywhere in Patong.

It is a party hotel so if that is what you are looking for it is 5 star. We found that we did not use the pool as it is next to the bar with loud music late into the night and it kept us up as our room was next to the pool. But service was good great people. Just not what I was looking for I was wanting. Relaxed resort feel.

The private room was very small but it was very clean and met my expectations. Service was good. I like that water was given in glass bottles rather than plastic. There was a coffee machine but it needed pods, which wasn’t provided. There’s no closet, and limited space, so be prepared did that. Overall it was a good stay.

A rude awakening.

Cheap and ok up until the last morning. We thought checkout was 2pm. I’m happy to admit my mistake it was actually 12noon BUT the phone call I received at 12:06 was unnecessarily rude. There is no excuse for rudeness and ultimatums and being dictated to over the phone. Go somewhere else!

Half hostel, half hotel. Not social at all!!

Had an issue with the booking and tried to cancel but they refused and made me jump through hoops anyway. I booked this place as a solo traveler hoping to socialize and meet people since it was advertised as a hostel. Turns out, it's part hostel, part hotel. It's not social at all! The pool is completely inadequate as there are only 2 day beds and 4 or so lounge chairs for the entire property! They have another area with day beds and chairs and such, but it's far from the pool and was occupied by random people and couples. They offer pub crawls and other activities but they are ridiculously overpriced and totally not worth it. The 2 events i saw were all guys and the few young women that were there were interested in only hanging with each other and not even participating in the group activities. For a couple that just needs a place to stray, i guess it's ok.The shared hostel room was nothing special. I would definitely not return to this place with so many other options in the area!

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! Very close to everything and amenities were a plus. Pool/ table tennis/ billiards. The only negative was the short haired receptionist who was extremely rude. I avoided interacting with her and just spoke with the other receptionist. Weird thing is the short haired would come over and include herself and attitude to any questions I approached with. Other than that stay here!
