Basic room, need car, but ok for 1 night.
Check in was good. The gal was nice, bit of a language barrier but we figured it out :-) She arranged a cab for me to the airport for a 4:45am pick up ($20US) and he was there waiting for me (even early) so I was happy for that being reliable. The room was VERY basic. But as clean as it could be. And comfortable enough. The location was not good if you don't have a car and you need food (or anything else) so luckily I returned my rental late and picked up something to eat in the room later as I knew I would not be able to walk anywhere. I had looked online and thought I saw places to eat but when I got there I could not find anything close enough (there is a little cafe at the bottom but it was closed when I arrived). Good enough just to spend the night before flying out. You get what you pay for so overall I thought the stay was fine.

Great little hotel
Check in was quick and easy. They had each of the rooms under the names of the guests, and gave us choice of which we wanted. Room was clean, shower was typically Costa Rican, had to adjust for warm water, but it worked really well. Liked the neighborhood.

clean, but very spare hotel
Clean room with two beds. Sink is cold water only, the shower had an "instant" hot water head with wire ties visible at the head connection. Only 3 accessible 120v outlets, no USB. Wifi was good. Rooms not sound isolated. No glassware/cups. No coffee maker, had to go to the small restaurant.
