My recent stay was not pleasant. I have stayed at this location previously several timesd and never an issue. They have clean rooms, comfortable beds, close to public transportation. Food acccessible for ordering in. On this trip .. another guest on my floor was having a party. Loud and obnoxious group. Loud music, slamming doors, smoking cigerettes ..i should not need to smell in my room but did. Also, last time i checked hotels are nonsmoking. I sighned osperwork for 250gine if smoking happened at check in. I was told at check out that.at some point local precinct called to intervine but took a few hours to respond. At 230 AM the party seemed to end. My nice relaxing evening after 2 straight months not a day off of work (essential worker) was ruined. I ended up getting anout 4 hours of sleep before i had toget up and getting ready for my flight. Part 2. I went to take a shower before i departed. Ran thecwater 10 minutes on hottest setting. Water was cold..not a good ending after the night i had. Common courtesy to those effected could have been as easy as offering another room on snother floor. I asked for information to.contact GM The information given is incorrect. Email bounced back saying non existing.

Pleasant Surprise
Pleasant surprise! The hotel lobby was clean and inviting. Although there was a bit of wait to check in, the front desk associate was very courteous! The room was a bit on the smaller side but it was clean and comfortable. Parking was a bit hard to find. Overall, for the price paid, I’d stay there again.

One time micro-experience.
The female receptionist needs customer service training. Rude. Room is tight. Front Desk was not available to answer calls. Long wait for water to warm up for shower. Breakfast served in paper bags to pick up at front desk is cheap. They served a donut, orange juice and water. The vent system is blowing cold air when turning on heat.

Looks are VERY DECEIVING, NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY
Welp let’s start with my check out Upon arrival they are HUGE RATS running IN FRONT... I had a bad feeling when the girl was saying “they’re everywhere out here... not in here but this area”. PARKING WAS A NIGHTMARE! Had to double park to check in and there was so many people just hanging outside on the corner. Drove around for about an hour just looking for parking. Then walking back from a parking lot I had paid for I notice why there’s so many people hanging outside, right next to the hotel is a HOMELESS SHELTER! My power was out and wasn’t to be on for 2 days, so I booked 2 days and it was hell! IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN I SUGGEST YOU NOT STAY HERE! NOT CHILDREN FRIENDLY! Room don’t come with a refrigerator and there is NO MICROWAVE ON SIGHT! I WOULD NOT SUGGEST THIS PLACE IF YOUR TRYING TO GET SLEEP BEING ITS A CONSTRUCTION SITE LITERALLY RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET! I Was gonna leave early and just stick it out without electric but I realized I wouldn’t be able to get my money back so I stayed and left at 7am! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, PAY THE LITTLE EXTRA AND GO TO THE HOILDAY INN EXPRESS, you’ll be a lot more COMFORTABLE. Ooo and one last thing... they put a $100 hold on your card

Good stay.
Nice clean hotel however you could smell cigarette smoke in the bathroom and they don’t have an exhaust fan in the bathrooms so the smell just lingers in there. Would have been nice to have a fridge or microwave but for $98/night in NYC adjacent LIC, you can’t be too picky. Customer service was great. Hotel seemed clean during these COVID times (except for cigarette small in our bathroom) and there was sanitizer at the front desk and social distancing reminders and clear plastic “sneeze-guards” up at the front desk which we appreciated. Overall, good hotel in the area for the cost.
