Messed Up Water
Hot and Cold water taps were backwards. Turned knob on sink to cold and got HOT water. Very dangerous to little kids. Both in the sink and bathtub.

Do not stay here!!!
Do not stay here. After a month of camping I decided to take a break and get a hotel. When I checked in, the receptionist asked for a credit card. After trying several times, she said she couldn’t get it to work. I was really tired and explained that I already paid for the room. She gave a key. When I got to my room, I realized she charged me twice for the room. I brought this to her attention. She tried for 15 min to correct it she couldn’t fix it. I tried calling the Travel Lodge but could never get through. Then called hotels.com. After spending 30min on the phone with them. They refunded me the amount I paid hotels.com for the room. This was a lot less that what a travel lodge charged me. I am traveling on a very small budget, and did not want to spend a lot of money on a hotel room. Because of the mistake, I ended up spending way more than I could afford for a cheap hotel room. I also ended up spending an hour amount of time trying to fix this problem, when I really needed to get food and rest!!

No hot water in our room. No furniture in our room. No place to set luggage. Light bulbs out in the main room and the switch for the entry was so loose we didn’t trust it.

Don’t trust the photos
The online photos and exterior of the hotel looked like it was updated nicely, but the room was awkward at best in its updated remodel. The baseboards were coming unglued, there was only one available outlet to charge phones etc., the bed and tv were awkwardly placed and offset making it hard to watch. And we didn’t see it until the morning but the shower was dirty.

Very disappointed
This lodge is very rough around the edges. The pictures on website look very nice but actually the property does not even come close to expectations. The bathroom doors and main room table were damaged, there were loose cables, the base trim was very shoddy and very dirty. The toilet was old and dingy.
