My room was clean and comfortable. Would certainly stay again for the price.

Check In lobby is on the 9th floor
So the entrance off the street seems like a normal building lobby in any downtown. However the lobby to check in is actually on the 9th floor and there is no signage on the main floor to tell visitors this information. There is a valet at a desk sometime but that seems to be normal business hours so if you arrive outside of normal business hours there will not be anyone there. There was another couple sitting in the main floor lobby the directed us to the 9th floor but it would be nice if the hotel had a sign directing visitors to the 9th floor.

Poor 2.0
Disgusted is an understatement
First off, prepare to pay full price for ZERO amenities! $147 + $38 for parking! I booked 3 nights and literally called a friend while checking in to ask to stay with her my last two nights. I understand COVID precautions. What I did not understand was how the hotel charges $38 a night for parking when valet was not available, no fitness, no pool, no house keeping, no restaurant, no bar and no breakfast. I had to park in a garage and haul my luggage back to the hotel. I picked this hotel due to traveling alone and needed the safety and convenience of valet parking. I was completely done by the time I reached the hotel. I had to dodge aggressive homeless people and walk pass MOUNDS of HUMAN FECES!!!! No lie!!!! They literally defecate and urinate in EVERY available corner and entry way. The stench was nauseating! So of course, after guest walk and drag their own luggage through these disgusting conditions...the hotel naturally held an unpleasant odor! My room had a not so faint hint of urine. I could not wait to check out. Downtown Chicago is in dire need of a long overdue power washing. Entire area smelled of sewage. I'm from Chicago and was horrified of the state of the city. Common areas were neglected: elevators, hallways, food crumbs on rugs, beverage stains. Someone dropped a green dental floss pick and a candy wrapper outside my door. Pretty sure it's still there. Rooms isolated across from one another is unsafe in design; easy access for predators!!!!

4 night stay
No room cleaning due to covid. We had to leave our towels outside the room and call for pickup. They did bring more towels but did not refill the toiletries. Instead they gave us a big bag full of travel size conditioner, shampoo, body wash but no lotion. The hallways were dirty and there was a smell. The location was nice for walking to millennium park area. If shows were going on, it would be perfect area for attending them.

Exceptional 10.0
Great location and room
This hotel was in a great location in the loop. We were easily able to get around to nearby restaurants and attractions. The staff were very helpful and the room was in great condition. We would definitely stay again.

Exceptional 10.0
Great stay. Convenient location
Rooms were vacant for 72 hours in between guest stays as COVID preventative measures. Housekeeping was unavailable as their bars and restaurants were also closed. Not an issue since that was already stated prior to booking. The double queen room was large and roomy. The bed was oh so soft! Had some of the best sleep! Hotel was central to most places. Convenient location

Good 6.0
Great location. Common areas of hotel were in desperate need of cleaning. I promise you, no vacuums were run the duration of our stay. It was gross. Made me concerned about the cleanliness of the room upon arrival.
