Very comfortable bed and the location was great. I was surprised that the coffee cups were so small. I overfilled a coffee cup and made a mess because I walked away while it brewed. There was a strange musty smell, but with some older places I've had similar experiences. Overall I'd say its a 7.5.

    Grand Stay in 202.

Very historic hotel right in downtown Eureka Springs. There is onsite parking which is great. We parked the car all week and rarely needed to drive. Plenty of shopping, restaurants and bars are within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful and answered any questions we had about the local area. There was a small general store across the street which was great to grab drinks or snacks. The only negative was I would have liked a small tv in the bedroom area. I will definitely stay here again.

    Very Disappointed

We were looking forward to a fun couples weekend & had so many disappointing experiences with our room! I double checked and nowhere on hotels.com does it say that there is no elevator or that there are lots of stairs to maneuver. I have an issue with my hip and thanks to having to go up and down the stairs all weekend, it is now killing me. As far as the rest of the room our bed looked very comfy and when we got in it for the night we discovered that the bedspread was actually a feather top mattress topper and not a bedspread at all. We would’ve liked to cover up with the bedspread because it got cold at night, but that was not gonna happen with the weight of the mattress topper. There is a sofa in front of a TV in a little room beside the bedroom and it was so beat down that you sucked way down in it and could not be comfortable at all. The floor sloped so much you could probably roll a bowling ball down and hit a strike every time. Then there was the bathroom! The pictures show you the wall surrounding the tub. The tub was a jetted tub, however it had a lot of give in the middle and you did not feel safe in it and the picture shows what the walls surrounding it look like, disgusting! Needless to say the pictures you see do not look anything like what we experienced at all. Finally, the concierge desk was right outside of our room & We tried to get some assistance and never had anybody answer the bell. You could also hear everybody coming in & out, all night long.

Not what we expected for the price we paid

This room didn't look like the pictures I saw on Hotels.com. It was very dark, there were no amenities in the room, and there was mold on the grout in the shower. Also, after the air would run in the room, it started make a gargling noise until it cycled and shut off. The clerk was virtually nonexistent.

This is the oldest hotel in Eureka Springs. Big suite! Cool antiques! HUGE spa tub! Nice staff! We enjoyed our stay! Only down part was that there was no TV in the bedroom, and our room did not have a kitchenette. Only a small fridge, icemaker and Keurig coffee maker. Many of the other rooms had actual stove tops and sinks and microwaves. There is no elevator, so the third floor was challenging! All in all, the location was the best! 😊

    Bad, just plain bad

Just plain bad. Not at all as advertised. Do not waste your time or money here. It appears that all the positive reviews are bogus. Most likely from owners, staff or paid third parties. The adventure of checking in to this hotel is comical. The main entrance isn't even labeled. We entered through a door that was for the restaurant which was closed when we were visiting. So there was not one person in site. After walking around and finally coming across a steep set of stairs we ascended the stairs wishing there were sherpas for rent to carry our luggage. Once at the top of the stairs we located what they call the front desk. It resembled the front desk of a victorian era brothel and looked well suited to be so. The must smell of old carpet and regret fill the air and overwhelm the senses. Staff were friendly but seemed rushed for some reason. We reserved the contemporary room and were sorely disappointed. The room itself was okay at best at first glance, but the set up was strange. The television could only be viewed from a sofa and was completely blocked from view if lying in the bed due to a large support pillar. The patio area is no such thing. It is nothing but a 4 foot by 6 foot walkway leading to the exterior entrance that is located off of an ally at the rear of the hotel. The spot where a deadbolt lock once was had only a hole stuffed with toilet paper. Staff did not seem alarmed at our surprise of this amusing lack of safety. Stay at Best Western...please!

This a charming old hotel. Still some minor remodeling to be done, but overall lovely. Front desk is up a flight of stairs from the street, so might not be appropriate for anyone with mobility impairments. On site restaurant was very good.

    Cheap owner

Levi was awesome. Room was nice. But they need to have a cleaning staff. The front desk needs to focus on checking people in, not cleaning room. Owner needs to hire cleaning staff. I have ran a hotel and this is not how its done.
