My stay was very nice and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place as it is easily centrally located to Kyoto Station and bus lines.

Quiet hostel near Kyoto Station
Nice common area, good Wi-Fi, and spacious dorm beds. The staff is polite & friendly, but it's not a very social hostel. Breakfast was lackluster (boiled egg, OJ and white bread) with no coffee. Co-ed bathrooms/showers.

Great hostel near train station
This hostel is great. I stayed in a single bed shared dormitory with 3 others. My bed was comfy and the room and all facilities clean. They provide you with a towel, the staff is super friendly and helped me with local tips about Kyoto. It's around 6 minutes walk from the main station and at night is quiet.

Super B hostel near Kyoto Station
I had an amazing stay at LE9. The hostel is around 6 minutes walk from the main station which is goodness when like me you use Kyoto as a base to travel around. It was clean, the breakfast okay, comfy bed and met nice people with which I went out for dinner and karaoke.
