The Beach wasn’t crowded. Water was clear and has fish and live coral. Nice views. Restaurant and staff was good. Especially the breakfast buffet. Desk staff was also helpful. AC worked well in the room. The downside- resort is far from walking street- pickup truck taxi is provided. A lot of stairs down to the beach. Bed was hard and bumpy. No laundry service provided. Typical Thai style bathroom.

I went alone and stayed at Deluxe Garden View for 2 nights. The view from the resort is stunning. All staffs are extremely service-minded. The room is spotlessly clean and comfy. I like that the water for the bathroom has high pressure. There is a free shuttle pickup to the Walking Street daily from 6 PM to 10 PM. International buffet breakfast is very nice. But I wouldn't recommend the food at the resort's restaurant for lunch or dinner.

Based on my recent experience, I would rate this as the best stay at Koh Lipe given the room amenities, staff service, breakfast options and most importantly, the beach which is right on the resort property from which we can get amazing views of sunrise and sunset.
