Beautiful property, but very weak WiFi and stained towels and sheets. One night is plenty to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Beautiful place a little outside of the main area. Service was very good, but the food was average.

A very nice modern complex with beautiful overwater Bungalows. The place is only two years old and everything is in great shape. The front desk staff are very helpful. Breakfast is a nice mix of Asian and Western (for those who would desire that here)

Really nice wooden hut- we booked a lake view room. Balcony right on the lake. Room looked new and in a very good condition. Nice clean bathroom. Hotel reception room was also stunning. We were taken to the room in a little golf buggy as it was a bit of a walk.

The Royal Nadi is simply lovely. A bit outside of dusty and hot Nyuang Shwe, it's close enough (a few minutes drive or about a 20 minute bike ride) into town. The setting is beautiful, with a great sun deck overlooking a beautiful pond, with spectacular sunset views. The service is 5 STAR, without a doubt. The dining manager and staff, as well as the chef himself, were all incredibly friendly and sincerely kind. We were a couple traveling with a parent too, and we all enjoyed coming back at the end of the day to relax and enjoy drinks and dinner. We arranged Inle Lake tours and a winery dinner trip from reception, and again, great service. It is very peaceful, and the rooms lovely. We had a "garden view villa" that actually overlooked a small pond and for us was more than expected! Can't recommend this place enough!!

The Royal Nadi Resort (Inle Lake), part of the Phyu Zin Group, owns half a dozen up scale hotels mostly in Shan State with association to the Tatmadaw (Myanmar military). The Yangon Directory Lists the Phyu Zin main activity in 2016 as air line ticketing which is also connected to the military government. The Royal Nadi Resort is an empty and sterile hotel consisting 40 bungalows set in a circle around a man made lake. Access to your bungalow or room is via golf cart which you phone for from the main office or make the 8 minute walk to the main desk. My local taxi was not allowed to take me to my bungalow. On entering the property you will pass through security and the visible Myanmar Tatmadaw flag with a star in the center. There was also Military Intelligence officer watching me check in. My second floor room was spacious and the bed comfortable and the grounds immaculate. I saw only two guests during the four days I stayed at the resort. I moved to a local hotel in Nyuang Shwe as soon as possible. There is no WiFi in the bungalows and onlyvery poor at the reception desk. I could not access my email. The circa 40 member staff was very courteous and are dressed in military-like uniforms. The staff regularly either walk or bicycle around the one kilometer road circling the property. There are two watchtower bristling with antennas and survalence equipment that are not for bird watching.
