Best hotel I’ve been!
Strategically located right beside the port. Only few mins walk from bus station. Starbucks is right beside the building. Incredibly awesome view from the room! There was nothing much to explore at night so the best way to spend the night at sun moon lake is nothing but enjoying the lake view on a comfy couch in your cosy room! And you can even wake up to see sunrise in your bed! I hate that I only get to spend a night there. I’d definitely go back to sun moon lake for this room!

The views that the hotel offered were fantastic. The staff were very helpful with any questions. The property is starting to look a little worn around the edges.

The man working was very friendly and helpful, but I only ever saw one person working and I think he was kept very busy. Two of the three times I went to reception it was unattended and I had to wait at least 5 mins for him to show up. I only booked a one night stay and had mixed feeling about this place. It’s in a great location and I had a very big room with everything I needed and a great view. However if you looked closely it was a bit rough around the edges; cracks in the ceiling, mould in the shower, lampshade hanging skew and loads of dust under the bed and on the couch and stairwell. I only mention these things because of the price I paid, which was the same as a night I paid for a 5 star hotel in central Taipei.
