The property was large and had many different rooms in it. We ended up with a small bedroom, with no balcony or any sort of living space. The main issue was that there was bugs everywhere and also in the bed and found on the pillows and we both had more than a few bites which were rather big. Nobody cleaned the room once in the 3 days that we were there and we didn’t at least get any fresh towels either. The room smelt of damp. Janet wasn’t around when we were there. Since letting her know we left a day early we still have yet to receive any sort of response.

Janet greeting us was lovely, warm and welcoming and the property was reasonably well presented (a few light fixtures and sockets could do with securing but nothing dangerous) We only stayed one night so wasn't worried about the facilities, only a comfortable bed and a shower. And the bed was VERY comfortable.

Pretty and relaxing!
Villa Fontana is 5 minutes away from the Dubrovnik airport which was perfect for our early morning flight. We did not hear any airplane noise. The owner is delightful and made check-in/out easy, the property is beautiful, we felt at home but with touches of luxury and we even had the pool/patio all to ourselves. We enjoyed a 15 minute walk to a beautiful cove where we had several lovely restaurant choices. This stay was a perfect ending for our tour of Croatia.

Amazing place...short walk to beach and bars. Blown away with the area in general. Regular boat rides over to dubrovnik and stops around the coast. Very historic and picturesque. Please book Villa Fontana as a base...Janet (Jean and Mark) will really look after you and make you feel at home. Email her direct for any questions/ recommendations you may have. Groups welcome...we went with 22. Cant wait to take more people to share the experience.

Wonderful Villa...
Just returned from a 6 day holiday with 22 Friends, Villa Fontana are amazing apartments with a lovely pool area , I stayed in the 2 bed 2 bath apartments with 2 other adults which has Air con in the main living area and fans in the bedrooms...The apartment was spacious, clean, has a dishwasher , washing machine etc and a balcony.. We all loved the quite location of the Villa, it was a 10 minute walk into town where you will find Restaurants, Bars, Shops, Supermarket , Bank and the lovely stunning harbour and beach. Janet the owner was a great host, very friendly ,together with her sister and son you couldn't meet nicer accommodating people, nothing was too much trouble for Janet, who organised , Restaurants ,shopping for our rooms, a barbecue for us all and Taxis back to the airport which is only 10 mins away and cost about £16. I stayed an extra 2 nights I loved it.. We wouldn't hesitate to book this accommodation again. Watched out Janet, Jeanne and Mark The Lancashire lasses will be back..
