Windsor Oceanico

My favorite hotel in Rio de Janeiro. Nice location, good service, cleaning rooms, nice staff

I love this hotel. Every time I come to Rio this is where I stay. The staff offers great customer service, the hotel is extremely clean and the location is amazing. This last time I stayed here for ten days during the coronavirus pandemic and I was able to observe how well they were following protocol for sanitation. I didn't allow they to clean my room and I as cleaning the room myself I was able to notice that when I moped the floor not one tiny bit of dirt came out. I highly recommend Windsor Oceanica and I congratulate this team that always provides great service.

Very good. There is no tea/ coffee making facility in room. Overall very good.

I was disappointed that most hotel employees did not speak English at all :-( even the front desk was limited. I wanted to upgrade my room, but was given very inconsistent quotes (3 different prices) and it felt like they wanted to trick me into paying more than the official rate :-(

Centrally located in Barra da Tijuca. There is are lots of beach quiosques across the street to eat and drink or just chill oit. Pharmacy is walking distance, one street over. My only complaints are that the rooms could have better amenities, like a coffee maker, a robe, slipper for the cold floor. Hallway can get noisy at times but overall it was very quite.

This is third day I am trying to reach my email to hotel stuff, all mails goes to the void, they have done card preauth and in the end instead of approve this transaction and get separate diferanse for room services they told that they have canceled preauth and charged for all one more time ((( Also does not response to emails at all. Now about the rest Food: ordered a lobster for dinner it was over cocked and over salted Toproof pool: not clean at all, a lot of strange locals which put laud their music and no one from stuff even do not try do anything Beach: not very clean, but the worse that was that if you are not Windsor Barra client you have to pay for beach chairs and umbrellas of same Windsor Transportation: even before arrival I have ask a quotation for transportation I’got answer within a month, even more for comfort class car they have asked 2 times then you could take a biz class car on Expedia Conclusion: will take back my money if they will not answer then by my bank, and never again will have a dill with this hospitality network

Room size was big. Breakfast was great. Cheap parking.

Nice hotel in a nice area. Amazing beach and good restaurants around.
