Ionian Hill Hotel

Excellent value for money. Everything is very new. Hotel is located on a hill side, overlooking the city of Zakynthos and the sea in a panoramic breath taking view. room is small, but ok size. I had the 'Superior Double or Twin Room, Sea View (Panoramic Sea & Pool View - 3 Adults)'. it is on the pool floor. so my porch was 3m away from the pool edge, with direct access to the pool. Some may like this, but it also means NO privacy. My advice, take the regular rooms (also cheaper). it may fix some of the following problems. The only entrance to the room is via this porch (no other window or door), and closing the door will smug the room. so you either sleep with open door, or with air-condition. there are 2 floors above me, and the plumbing is 1m away from my head, so you can here every water flush (very annoying). The sound isolation is bad. shower/toilet has no window (very small vent, not working). Other than that, it is good room, comfortable beds, and good feeling. Service is very good. WIFI is very good (1M up 5M dn). Safe is very small and on the floor. Breakfast was very good.

Lovely hotel with outstanding views. Staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room is cleaned every day with fresh towels and toiletries. I would be happy to stay there again. Highly recommended

It’s a small fancy hotel up on a small hill with a lovely view!

A modern property set just outside Argassi with 28 rooms. Well presented and very clean. Ample parking for your car but set on a steep hill so practice your hill starts. We had a sea/pool view which was very impressive. A lovely view over Argassi and Zakynthos bay. Nice modern rooms with v good air conditioning. Beds were really comfortable. Breakfast is served on the terrace in the in- house restaurant which was nice but the hot stuff was often cold. Decent choice of cheese, fruit , cereals jams honey, juices and great Greek yogurt. Lovely pool area with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas although the umbrellas could do with some attention as some don't stay up. Pool towels provided if you ask at the bar. Bathrooms v modern although pretty small. No bath but shower cubicle which suited us however the shower cubicle was very small if you're rather portly you might struggle! Rooms cleaned on a daily basis with new towels provided. Reception services very helpful and bar/ breakfast staff work really hard. We hired a car which I was very glad of as I found the walk into the main part of Argassi quite hazardous as there is no path for the first 500m from the hotel. I'm a little surprised that no one else has actually mentioned traffic noise. we stayed in August which is high season and we found the traffic noise when sitting around the pool quite distracting. The hotel sits on a hill with the main road through Argassi right below.

Lovely staff, amazing view and breakfast very tasty with a lot of options. Rooms a bit small but very nice and modern. I would definitely come back.

Wonderful newly build hotel! We had the chance to stay in garden and sea view room, both were fantastic, beds and pillows were really comfortable. Our rooms, breakfast area, pool and all other facilities were clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and always willing to help ( many thanks to Alice, wonderful girl who was always there to help). Good choice of food for breakfast! Really really happy with our stay at Ionian Hill Hotel !
