Bathroom with hair on the floor from previous occupants. Dirt in front of door on carpet entering room. We were there 2 nights and wasn’t vacuumed. This gave us an overall feeling that the whole room wasn’t properly cleaned and sanitized before we arrived. Sticker on the door meant nothing. We stayed at a 2 star hotel that had a cleaner room the week before . Probably would not come back here just for that reason. During these trying times it’s important to feel as safe as possible. On a different note. The staff was wonderful! Very friendly and accommodating.
Enjoyed our stay room was clean and spacious HVAC was loud kept waking me up
I found the receptionist friendly and informative. Had problem with my T V and Mark was Johnny on the spot. Room appeared to be clean for Covid as did the entire facility.
Our stay was great. Only concern was how salty the pool was which had us questioning if the correct amount of chemicals were present in the pool.
We were in town for a family wedding. When booking rooms we asked for an early check in as the wedding was at 4:30, and 15 minutes from the hotel. We booked 3 rooms, asking for only 1 room early to get ready. We were told there was no possible way they could accommodate our request. I even checked room availability for the night before thinking we might need to book a room even if we wouldn’t be there to have a place to get ready. There were more than half the rooms available on that night. We decided to take a chance and call in the morning When we called the morning of the wedding we were told it would be no problem to check in early as the hotel had plenty of empty rooms. I totally understand that we’re in Covid times, but they also knew they were not close to full and could have accommodated us for a room. We come to the area for family events several times a year, we will not choose The Hilton Inn. It’s too bad because the hotel staff we encountered during our stay were friendly.
We stayed one night and service was excellent. It’s COVID-19 time and I was a little skeptical about staying at a hotel, but The Hilton Garden Inn Wallingford was super clean, every room has was SEALED After being clean.. very pleased. thank you:))
The check-in and check-out procedure was very smooth. The room was spacious and comfortable. A nice place to rest for the night on road trips. I was disappointed that there was not a complimentary breakfast, but that might be a COVID thing (I didn’t ask). Our late arrival and early departure did not afford us the opportunity to check on other amenities.
When I arrived I had to wait around 10 minutes because the receptionist wasn’t there.
Great location, spacious room with 2 adults and 2 kids, clean. Breakfast very small portions not worth it. Pool clean and great for kids. Staff friendly.
