I called ahead as we were driving to Springdale and although we were arriving at 12:20 pm and check-in was 3pm they did early check-in so we could put our luggage in the room and run down to catch the free shuttle to take us to Zion National Park before our 1pm Zion shuttle time was missed. Such a gracious and genuine host. A 10 out of 10 from out point of view. We loved the theming of the room. Had everything we needed. Also set us up for the best breakfast!!
Novel House was easy to find and well situated for meals. We brought bikes and easily road into Zion Canyon from the Inn. There was nothing we did not like about the place.
This was such a unique and extremely accommodating place. We met several other guests and had some great discussions. We particularly liked having drinks on the patio as the sun went down. Great location right in the middle of town! The room was spacious. I would definitely stay here again!
Charming, classic BnB with literature themed rooms, about a mile walk to Zion entrance. Host is incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
Very clean and quiet, great location. I would highly recommend Novel House Inn
Property manager was extremely helpful while getting us settled in and providing pointers for our stay. Cannot thank him enough! A
This is such a unique property. It has the bed and breakfast feel but better as you eat your breakfast in a local restaurant. The rooms are all themed after a famous author and the common areas have bookshelves full of books. The room was decorated to reflect the era of our author C.S. Lewis. It had a four poster bed and had a wardrobe with a small stuffed lion on top as well as an old fashioned phone. The Wifi was excellent and in the common room there was a refrigerator and a micro wave for sharing. The owner/manager was so friendly and helpful. He assisted in printing out our Zion National Park shuttle tickets for our two days in the park. The grounds of the hotel had several outside seating areas available for relaxation and sunset views and we were fortunate enough to have a mule deer encounter. The free Springdale shuttle that took you to Zion was a block from the hotel.
Great views, rent bike shop 1 block away, free local city bus to Zion park at Zion bank which is across the street from novel house. Breakfast vouchers are awesome at Oscars a well know and rated food place. Only con is that house rooms are shared by other guests but still worth the price.
The hotel was in immaculate and pristine condition. The room was very cozy and adorned with many knick-knack and decorating pieces. The lounge room was beautifully furnished and held countless books, DVDs, etc. The grounds were well-kept with frequent daily visits by dear. The staff was incredibly cordial and accommodating. The place was quiet, relaxing, and within walking distance to the Zion National Park entrance gate, and countless dining establishments.
Great place. Room was lovely. They weren't allowed to serve breakfast unfortunately, but they did give us vouchers to have breakfast at a nearby restaurant.
