Rushmore Express Keystone

Property staff were very courteous, helpful, and wearing masks! Family suites were large and clean. However, they also were odd in that they didn’t have any exterior windows for fresh air ventilation. Would have liked to know that when booking during COVID times.

We felt lucky to find a family-sized room at a good price so close to Mt. Rushmore as it seems everyone is heading for the parks to escape COVID cabin fever. We booked 5 nights but had a medical emergency en route and were delayed a day; the staff was great and kept the rest of our reservation without charging for the missed night. The front desk clerks were friendly and helpful the entire time. Our kids loved the pool and hot-tub. We only tried the breakfast once because the lines were long, but that's due to COVID guidelines that require the staff to gather and hand out every plate, so we just bought food in Rapid City and used the fridge and microwave in the room. Comfortable beds, classy room with a big table and kitchenette. The souvenirs in the lobby are the same price or cheaper than nearby stores and gift shops. Short walking distance to all the boardwalk shops, restaurants, and attractions of Keystone. It's the perfect base to venture out to all the nearby attractions in all directions. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a very neat clean room. It was a short walk to all the restaurants and shops in town. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very quiet and comfortable rooms. A larger in room coffee pot would be better than the single cup version however.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean.

Room was not very clean, huge spot of something on the carpet. Hair on the sheets and towels. Walls need cleaned, room needs updated, not worth the price we paid.

Very helpful staff at reception. Only wish the soda vending machines weren’t empty. Although breakfast was included (you order at a window), there were few places to sit. Room was clean and spacious, and the location was convenient.

The Family Suite was PERFECT! Plenty of space, hotel is perfectly located across the street from the Adventure place, and only (2) miles away from Mt Rushmore. Disappointed that so many food establishments closed early but under 'normal' circumstances they were all w/in walking distance. Also plenty of things to do if you stay longer than 2-days & it doesn't snow. Parking was appropriate, & "free breakfast" could be improved upon.

The room was clean and front desk staff was helpful.
