The room smelled of cigarettes and the TV was 25 feet away from the bed and only 21 inches wide. Couldn't watch the TV too small.

What a nice motel! Very nice inside and VERY clean! This place was as nice a any 3.5 star hotel. The owners/managers were just incredibly kind and professional. I was not expecting this motel to be so nice inside. Pleasant surprise. :)

It was an old run down motel off route 66 for $40. It was what I expected. Bed was fine. It was clean enough I was comfortable with my 1 year old there. The TV was actually very nice with a ton of channels which helped keep my kiddo entertained. Id stay again.

Basic and clean - totally recommend
After booking with Hotels.com we filed the directions to the motel and found it easily. Only a block or 2 off the highway. Quiet area. Check in was easy and management most accommodating. There was a lightbulb out in the room and after reporting it, the manager tried to fix it but when he couldn't be brought his personal lamp in for better lighting. Air conditioner was in a most unusual place but it worked and was efficient. A GREAT value and very pleasant (no breakfast or water /ice due to covid)

No frills.
Funky vintage motel has it's charms and it's faults. I was there overnight during rain and cold, but in nicer weather it would be more appealing. Strange sink counter was chest height, but the room was comfortable and clean enough. Management was friendly and responsive. Deferred maintenance showed in areas.

Wish this motel was in every place we travel! Cheap. Clean. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water! The bed was a little hard for our taste but the overall experience with the room was awesome!

Elvis really did sleep here!
The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bad was especially comfortable to sleep in. However, i was not able to connect to the wifi. Overall, i enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay here the next time my travels take me through Shamrock!
