There were not a lot of places available to stay in Arad by the time we were ready to book. We based our choice on Hana's Guest House on the usual criteria, Price X Rating X Reviews. We were very happy that we got a place at all, but it couldn't have turned out better. We had a small, quiet Garden Suite. Outside the door was a large comfortable sofa/swing, fruit trees, cactus, & flowers. Hana was extremely helpful in getting us set up with the TV, which we found a little complicated at various places we stayed during our 3 week trip to Israel. She also was able to loan me a wall adapter to charge cameras and phones for the day trips to Masada and Dead Sea. Hana's place in Arad is ideal for travel to both of these Israel highlights, each about a one hour roundtrip down different highways. Hana was also engaging, cheerful and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

A wonderful place to stay near Masada
Stay at Hana's guest house for easy access to the Western Entrance to Masada. Hana's place is a delightful, homey place to stay near the Dead Sea. You will have a small kitchen for your stay, and a clean, comfortable room. The road to the western entrance of Masada, where the Ramp Trail begins, is just a few blocks away. It is a 20-25 minute drive from Hana's house. Hana was very welcoming, and we enjoyed a hot cup of tea, and a delicious bowl of lentil soup upon our arrival. I only wish we had been able to stay longer. Next time. Beware, there is no sign on her gate, so when you arrive at the address, knock on her door.

Тихий провинциальный город, идеальное место для путешествия на машине. 25 км до Мертвого моря, 20 км до крепости Масада. Дом расположен на окраине Арада, вокруг живописный двор. Очень гостеприимные хозяева. Нам рассказали как, куда и когда добраться. За два дня мы увидели много интересного и накупались в море. Место для тех, кто хочет отдохнуть вдвоем, кто умеет развлекать себя самостоятельно.
