I was really happy with the check in and covid precautions.
I normally don't like to write these types of reviews, but these reviews are necessary to help others not go through what our family went through. This place was a complete disappointment. It is a false advertisement. The pictures and features are false.
The person that received us was nice and communicated room and instructions clearly. I was disappointed that there was no transportation set up by hotel or directions when we got to airport. Suite looked a bit out dated, like bathroom and some furniture. The sofa bed was hard to open and close. Looks like it was previously damaged. Would have liked some info in room as suggestions for places to eat, etc.
The likes were drawer fed by the dislikes. Air conditioning was inadequate! Bathroom sink and bathtub did not drain. Very dated. WiFi signal very weak in room. TV system sucked. Could not watch super bowl and very few stations available. The price ... over $300 is ridiculous for what you spend. Also, neighborhood didn’t seem safe.
Nice units and conveniently located to the airport. It’s a very secure property . We arrived after hours in a complete downpour. The office staff communicated how to do after hours check in. When I booked the stay on Expedia initially I did not realize the office wasn’t open 24 hours. They don’t send your entry codes until the day you are arriving. I read mine on my phone and saw the room number and access code, thinking that’s all I needed. We arrived in the dark around 1:00 PM in the morning after our flight and it was pouring rain. The UBER driver let us out and we saw a gate you had to code into. I tried the room number and the access code several times. We were soaking wet. I tried to reread the email on my phone, but it was too wet and dark. I went across the street and luckily there was someone at the office, who pulled up our info. I did have the gate access code on my email, but didn’t notice it as I was mostly focused on the room and room access code, so apparently I skimmed over it. I felt pretty stupid about it. So, if you stay there and it’s after hours, be aware there is a gate code and a room code. They are nice units that are an inexpensive UBER drive from the airport. It should have been easy, but because I didn’t read the email closely on my home screen it caused us a problem, but that was my mistake. We were very glad a nice guy was still at the office.
Stay was ok, cute courtyard with colored lights. Dog friendly!
Taxi dropped us off around noon time. Went to check in and front desk person said room was not ready. Asked if they would store our luggage. Were told "no" they didn't have room too. Stood in parking lot pondering what to do when we witnessed a pick-up truck crash into an SUV and flee. 10 minutes later we see 2 men fighting out in front of reception area of hotel. 5 minutes later 3 sheriff cars show up, one officer has a shotgun. At this point we are scared and want out of here. Just so happened taxi came by, we dumped our luggage in trunk, jumped in cab and told cab driver to get out of here. Needless to say we did not stay. The property is not as it appears in pictures on Expedia and the front desk person was rude and not helpful at all. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Might be out $300, but we are alive.
The lady in the front whose name I believe was Lisa was very rude and disrespectful to myself and my guest. She was very blunt and none accommodating. When I asked to speak to her manager she stated she was the manager then I asked for the owners information which she just handed me the card while not trying to improve my stay there. The day before her named Jennifer was more accommodating but they seem to be less helpful to use due to our skin complexion. They were more accommodating to a white homeless person who was also booking his stay in a shared room than they were to use who prepaid and it’s not the real Sheridan it’s just the name because the Main Street name is Sheridan which was another thing why we originally decided to get the place due us wanting to be in the real Sheridan hotels and suit. Very disappointed and my guest were too.
Overall it was nice but the air conditioning was not the best in the living room and there were no channels on the tv to watch anything. Other than that everything was wonderful
It was booked as a suite with King size bed and a large pull out couch. It was only a queen size bed, AC was a window unit not enough to cool the room. Room also had a strange odor it. Will not stay here again.
